Motorola Droid Xyboard 8.2 VS Samsung Galaxy Tab 2: specs, features and comparision

Motorola has launched latest tablet on market known as Droid Xyboard 8.2, it is thin and light weighted with one of the brightest screens we’ve seen on a tablet. It has features like 5-megapixel shooter camera that has excellent performance, powerful speakers, and fast 4G LTE speeds and it can act as a universal remote. On other hand we have Samsung’s new Galaxy Tab 2 feels nice and compact in the hand. Its slim body is constructed out of plastic, having 7-inch PLS LCD display with a resolution of 600 by 1024 pixels. A features like 3MP rear camera, 4000 mAh battery and dual-core setup. Motorola Droid Xyboard 8.2 is 216 x 139 x 9 mm thick, with a weight of 390 g only. ThisTabletlooks more attractive in the market with the proportions and styling more corner wear.
Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 comes with a size of 193.7 x 122.4 x 10.5 mm, little thicker than Motorola, but lighter weighting 344 g. Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 is a striking device is a lot to the next curvature or softening in the corners.
Another important visual tweak is that the display takes precedence over the body work; Motorola Droid Xyboard 8.2 with Gorilla Glass protection which is different where as Samsung providing its intelligent UI- Samsung TouchWiz UX UI
Storage:
Motorola Droid Xyboard 8.2 comes with two variants, 16GB/32GB internal storage with 1 GB RAM, but cannot be expanded up to 32GB. On other hand Galaxy Tab 2 has 3 variants 8GB/16GB/32GB with 1GB of RAM. Samsung is providing a choose that you can expand memory up to huge 64GB via micro SD card slot, This is the plus point of Samsung which makes it superior than Motorola.
Processor:
Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 runs on Android OS, v4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) latest version on market. The Galaxy S2 runs on Dual-core 1GHz processor. While Motorola XYBoard offers Android OS, v3.2 (Honeycomb), but it is upgradable to v4.0, it has got Dual-core 1.2 GHz Cortex-A9 processor with TI OMAP 4430 chipset. Both have GPU which can play excellent games.
Battery Life:
The Motorola Droid Xyboard 8.2 uses Lithium Ion Standard battery, Li-Ion 3960 mAh, while the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 offers little less Standard battery, Li-Ion 4000 mAh.
Motorola Droid Xyboard 8.2 will price around 290 Euro where as Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 will price is not yet announced. Samsung is providing all the specs and features as compare to Motorola, so it is difficult to say which one is better until price of Samsung Tab is reviled
