How to Root HTC Inspire 4G Android Smartphone easy tutorial

1. This procedure will wipe all your apps, data and settings. So backup all your data properly of HTC Inspire 4G. Use apps like Titanium backup, contact, SMS backup.
2. Turn off antivirus and firewall. As they usually interrupt firmware update process.
3. Minimum battery charge required is 70%.
4. Enable the USB debugging in your Phone from the path “Settings > Applications > Development > USB debugging”. The USB Debugging option should be ticked.
5. Ensure that your device is on the Default firmware and not on any of the custom ROM firmwares. Uninstall the HTC Sync in your computer.
6. Download Download the Ace Hack Kit
Step1. Extract the .zip package which contains all the essential tools which will help you to root your device in your computer.
Step2. Connect your HTC Inspire 4G Smartphone with the help of the original USB Cable.
Step3. Now, open the extracted folder where you will found the script file. Run the file as Administrator, The file name is “hack-ace.cmd“.
Step4. Just see that the command prompt window will be opened and just there type 1 to select “Hack Ace” and press ENTER key. Take help from given image bellow.
Step5. Just perform series of steps which will include the following:
Step7. Once the device is restarted, you again need to reconnect the device by removing the phone from your computer.
Step8. You will have to open the command prompt in your computer. Change the directory to when you have extracted the Advanced Ace Hack kit and then followed by that, change the directory by entering the commands in the command prompt “cd tools” and “cd win”.
Step9. Now, you will have to enter the command as “adb reboot recovery” which will reboot the phone in the clockwork mod recovery.
Step10. Enter the command as “adb reboot boot loader” which will reboot the phone in the fastboot mode. Now, you will see that the boot loader screen at the top as “S-Off”
Step11. Just reboot the phone in the normal mode. In the phone, you now need to launch the busy box installer application and install the busy box.
Step12. Also, you need to open the Super user app which will prompt for the permission which you need to “Allow” the same.
That’s it you have completed the rooting procedure of HTC Inspire 4G. If Due to some reasons if the update process gets failed or interrupted, then you need to apply the update again by repeating the procedure. Don’t forget to restore the backup which you have taken in the initial steps.

- Turn your SD card into a goldcard (required for setting S-OFF)

- Install the Superuser app and binaries
