America’s first ‘glasses-free’ 3D 4G device will be available for $199.99, and HTC EVO View 4G, the first 4G tablet in market, will be available for $399.99. Both prices exclude applicable taxes, and the devices require a new two-year service agreement or eligible upgrade.
The EVO 3D, which feature’s a 4.3-inch qHD glasses-free 3D display, a 1.2 GHz dual-core processor running underneath Android 2.2 Froyo, has a price tag of $199.99 on contract. What’s more, this highly anticipated Android smartphone will also be compatible with Sprint’s 4G WiMAX network. The HTC View 4G tablet has specs very similar to its cousin, the HTC Flyer, but adds a 4G WiMAX for extra connectivity when out of WiFi range.
The glasses-free 3D display is a first among devices offered by U.S. carriers, and the phone will also be compatible with Sprint’s 4G WiMAX network. The HTC View 4G will retail for $399.99 on contract, and it is nearly identical to the HTC Flyer we recently reviewed. Power Strip is a dock-like home application bringing up shortcuts and widgets right on your current activity. The key difference between Power Strip and other replacement home apps is that Power Strip doesn’t really have its own window. It’s more of an overlay that pops up on top of whatever it was you already had open.You have two ways to wear Power Strip on your phone. You can choose to use it as your home application, where it essentially replaces your native home screen. Or you can choose to keep your home application as it is, and activate Power Strip by long-pressing your phone’s search button.

Pre- requisites for rooting HTC Inspire 4G:

1. This procedure will wipe all your apps, data and settings. So backup all your data properly of HTC Inspire 4G. Use apps like Titanium backup, contact, SMS backup.
2. Turn off antivirus and firewall. As they usually interrupt firmware update process.
3. Minimum battery charge required is 70%.
4. Enable the USB debugging in your Phone from the path “Settings > Applications > Development > USB debugging”. The USB Debugging option should be ticked.
5. Ensure that your device is on the Default firmware and not on any of the custom ROM firmwares. Uninstall the HTC Sync in your computer.
6. Download Download the Ace Hack Kit

Procedure to Root HTC Inspire 4G Android Smartphone:

Step1. Extract the .zip package which contains all the essential tools which will help you to root your device in your computer.

Step2. Connect your HTC Inspire 4G Smartphone with the help of the original USB Cable.

Step3. Now, open the extracted folder where you will found the script file. Run the file as Administrator, The file name is “hack-ace.cmd“.

Step4. Just see that the command prompt window will be opened and just there type 1 to select “Hack Ace” and press ENTER key. Take help from given image bellow.


Step5. Just perform series of steps which will include the following:

• Copy the needed files
• Root the phone temporarily
• Turn your SD card into a goldcard (required for setting S-OFF)
• Activating S-OFF
• Setting SuperCID
• Unlocking the phone from network/carrier (SIM unlock)
• Install ClockworkMod Recovery
• Root the phone permanently
• Install the Superuser app and binaries

Step6. Now after the command processing is done, the phone will be rebooted several times. Don’t try to remove the USB cable while in the progress from the computer.

Step7. Once the device is restarted, you again need to reconnect the device by removing the phone from your computer.

Step8. You will have to open the command prompt in your computer. Change the directory to when you have extracted the Advanced Ace Hack kit and then followed by that, change the directory by entering the commands in the command prompt “cd tools” and “cd win”.

Step9. Now, you will have to enter the command as “adb reboot recovery” which will reboot the phone in the clockwork mod recovery.

Step10. Enter the command as “adb reboot boot loader” which will reboot the phone in the fastboot mode. Now, you will see that the boot loader screen at the top as “S-Off”

Step11. Just reboot the phone in the normal mode. In the phone, you now need to launch the busy box installer application and install the busy box.

Step12. Also, you need to open the Super user app which will prompt for the permission which you need to “Allow” the same.

That’s it you have completed the rooting procedure of HTC Inspire 4G. If Due to some reasons if the update process gets failed or interrupted, then you need to apply the update again by repeating the procedure. Don’t forget to restore the backup which you have taken in the initial steps.
